Kardabaybay (the darter) is a long necked bird, whereas bonbon (the Little Pied Cormorant) has a shorter neck. We eat both of them. We see the darter up in trees, sitting there with her wings outstretched. We see big groups of cormorants on the banks of rivers and billabongs. Both the darter and the cormorant dive down into the water to find fish to eat. The darter (Anhinga sp.) spears the fish with its beak, then takes it out of the water, throws it up and swallows it head first.
