Nyanu Watson is painting a Kuur-Kuur (boobook owl) native to Kalka. Nyanu tells the story of a family of Kuur-Kuurpa, the children see mother and father and start to get happy (Pukulpa). With every one of Nyanus paintings she tells the story as she works and gives each of her Tjulpu (birds) a unique character. Nyanu always depicts happy family life for her creatures.
