Whiskey has painted Arrernte Country. As a young man Whiskey worked across the Central Desert as a 'Cowboy' mustering sheep and breaking in horses. After a while Whiskey became homesick and returned to his Ngure (country) on the APY Lands SA. Whiskey says this is not a Tjukurpa (dreaming) story in this painting, it is just him remembering the place where he used to work. He remembers alot of good tucker in this country and the men and women used to go hunting for rabbits and other bush meats.
