Whiskey has painted Arrernte Country. As a young man Whiskey worked scross the Central Desert as a 'Cowboy' mustering cattle for station owners. After working for a while Whiskey became homesick so he came back to his ngura (country) on the APY lans in SA. Whiskey says this is not a Tjurpa (dreamong) story in this painting it is him remembering the place where he used to work. He remembers there was lots of good tucker around that Country and the men and women used to go hunting for rabbits and other bush meats.
