Ivy has depicted Minyma Tjuta Tjukurpa (Seven Sisters Creation Story). This is a far reaching narrative that follows the journey of a group of young women who traverse the Spinifex Lands and beyond. They are always eluding the persistent pursuit of a lustful older man, named Nyiru. These are creation characters and they leave indelible physical reminders of their power within the landscape. They also leave a moral narrative that is the framework of a religion that has been orally transferred for eons. Here Ivy has depicted the significant site of Irria that is close to the present day community of Warakurna.
