We don't have buffalo here they come down from the Territory. One day a lone buffalo came to Louisa downs. We went out mustering we saw the Buffalo with all the cattle surrounding it. This was the first time we had seen one and we were scared of them so we would shoot them. The second time we saw one, first we saw a big mob cattle and then we knew there was a buffalo there. We realised that the buffalo are the big boss and would bring all the wild cattle so he helped us to muster.
I remembered Crocodile Dundee in the movie when he came up to the Buffalo and used his hand on its head to lay it down. I imagined myself like that and what it must be like so I painted the cowboy doing the same on the skull.
