This painting shows Mule Creek country on Bow River Station. The red circle on the lower right is the mustering camp and the black circle below is Mule Creek Yard. Freddie describes the "biggest white flat" as "sloping down from the hills to that Mule Creek. Then going down to Goorroogoorra (Storm Bird) Country". Freddie reminisces about life as a young man on the stations, "I was mustering there when I was about 18 and went back with my family for a while. Then I went south to the Territory, big desert country for a couple of months mustering cattle all the way up to Mistake Creek Station."
