'This story is of a Turtle, it was told to me by my father. In the Dreaming a turtle was looking for fresh water, he travelled upstream and down stream. Everywhere he went the water was too shallow so he moved on. He then found a place that was very deep and stayed there. You can still see him there today, when the water dries up in the dry season there is a large rock in the middle, that's the turtle. In the wet season you can't see him, he is covered with water. This is on Bedford Downs Station, my fathers Country.'
