Raylene and Rosalind are two highly acclaimed contemporary Australian artists known for their breathtaking paintings that depict the beauty and colours of their country. Both artists draw inspiration from their surroundings and culture to create vibrant and stunning works of art. Their art practice is deeply rooted in technique and storytelling, which they use to create electric works of art that expand beyond the canvas, bringing an energy that stimulates the senses.

Their powerful paintings have not gone unnoticed, as both Raylene Walatinna and Rosalind Tjanyari have received exceptional praise for their work in the field of contemporary art. Rosalind’s mother was a highly regarded ngangkari (traditional healer). This is reflected in Rosalind’s artwork, where Rosalind imbues the positive, healing energy associated with Ngangkari and specific sites into her artworks. Raylene’s paintings are versed by her strong connection to country and family history associated with the resilient desert country her homelands.
