Wandjina gives us all of the saltwater Gaawi (fish). These gaawi come from the saltwater and finish when the saltwater meets the freshwater. In this painting we have red snapper, blowfish, flathead, barramundi, silver queen fish and a family of salmon. The salmon come in the warmer months. The other fish are around all year.
