'Big camp near lake west of Hermannsburg, big lake there, in the bush. All old ones, old people, my family sitting down there inside of Palm Valley. This was olden days. Old people live in humpy, waiting for tucker form younger ones. My grand fathers ride camels to different places, like Hermannsburg Mission, collect ration for family, or go hunting. See hunting dogs. All the kids swimming, fishing. Women and kids collect bush tucker. All the bird there drinking water and fishing. Family hunt em, and eat em. Family not wearing clothes then. Women [far right] collecting Akutjera [bush tomato], sees that goanna drinking. He's only watching all the dogs, not seeing that woman. She runs after him with her digging stick to hit him on the head. She sings out, excited! Got em!'
Still today we go camping, swimming, fishing, collecting bush food same place with family.
