Impatye Jesuake (Jesus footprint), Palm Valley, my Country. Jesus in the Beginning, Jesus walked around and Jesus made the Sun and the Moon. He walked all around a long time ago. Always been there. He left his footprint in the rock (two oval shapes centre foreground of painting). We always see Jesus Footprints when we grow up. All grown up, all West Arrarnta with Jesus Footprint there. West Arrarnta tribe been with Jesus Footprint from long long time ago. Only one way in and only one way out Palm Valley. Always pass Jesus Footprint in or out of Palm Valley. You know, Finke River? So people always go that one way, with river. People are real happy, I'm real happy, when I see Jesus Footprint there. Seasons come and go. Sometimes Always hunting looking for bird or waterfish. Sometimes there's fish, sometimes no fish. Sometimes no water. My Grandfather we bin grow up with him. This is his home.
Lots of people there. There used to be big camp long time ago. All the people were inside Palm Valley.Children in the river swimming. All the waterfish swimming in the river.
People still visit Palm Valley all the time, swimming in the riveren. All the birds fly in for that water. So family hunting birds – duck duck - and fish from the water. Everyone sitting by the camp fire, or collecting bush tucker, or swimming. Water surrounded by bush flowers – wild flowers everywhere. There’s kangaroo and bush tucker and witchetty grub. That’s beautiful, that’s my family on my Country.
