Wilkinkarra is a vast salt lake north east of Kiwirrkura community in Western Australia. It is also known as LakeMackay. Pepai visited this place for the first time in April 2017 when he returned to his father's country with fellow artist Derek Jungarrayi Thompson. This site is rich in tjukurpa (law/culture). It is said that a wanampi is resting underneath the surface of the lake. Pepai says of the site, "it is a healing place. When sick people go there they get better."
The surface of the pot represent the lake, the red is the sand dunes and over the sand dunes you see s salt lake.
