- Nyanjilpayi Nancy Chapman
Pilankujarra is a claypan located north of the Parngurr Aboriginal Community, and within the Karlamilyi (Rudall River) region. The site falls within Nyanjilpayi’s ngurra (home Country, camp), an area she traversed extensively as a young child with her family. During the wet season, when claypans such as this would fill with water, they were used as reliable camping sites.
