Dallas Fletcher Australian, b. 1969

Dallas was born in Halls Creek in 1969. His mother is Kija and his father a Jaru man from the Halls Creek area. He schooled in Broome and South Hedland. After time living at Ardiyallon/One Arm Point, Dallas returned to Halls Creek. In his recent work he explores human rights abuses and injustices committed against Aboriginal people. Dallas was a feature artist at Fremantle Arts Revealed Exhibition 2017, an annual event that brings together the best new and emerging Aboriginal artists across WA.
