Muna Kulyuru Pitjantjatjara, Australian, b. 1964

Muna Kulyuru is a respected artist, teacher, and community leader in Amata. Born in Tjiwuru near Ernabella in 1964, Muna began painting with Tjurma Homelands and then Minyamku Arts (later named Tjala Arts) when it opened. Today Muna paints exclusively at Tjala Arts in Amata, creating vibrant, energetic paintings which celebrate the vitality of her Country and its important cultural stories.
