Beverley Brumby Language Group: Yankunytjatjara/Pitjantjatjara, Australian, b. 1980

Beverley Brumby lives and works in Indulkana Community, APY Lands SA. Beverley is the daughter of Kunmanara (Ronnie) Brumby and Mary “Tjapukula” Brumby. Beverley’s mother Mary was one of Iwantja Arts’ founding artists, producing lino-prints, batiks and jewellery items in the Iwantja art centre’s early days.

Today, Beverley often works alongside her mother at Iwantja Arts, painting her own interpretations of her family’s stories and Country into her vibrant paintings.
