Rhoda’s father, Gama, and mother, Asori, were Ematé clanpeople from the old village ofEnopé which was situated between the Jordan and Maruma Rivers. Her brother is the Chief ofEmaté clan men Nathan Gama. Rhoda’s favourite design she loves to paint is gobibajo’e, thepoison bubbles that stun the fish in the river, because it is a very strong design from the timeof her ancestors. Rhoda has seven children
