Nyinta Donald Peipei Australian, Arrente, b. 1946

Nyinta was born on Angus Downs.Her father was from Blood Range near Docker River, but he worked on Angus Downsbringing salt into Alice Springs on camel caravans. Her mother is from Kaanpi,and her parents met up at Docker Riverand moved to Angus Downs Station.Her mother raised up three sons,and Nyinta but the family moved to Areyonga Reserve administered for the Government by the Lutheran Mission.Nyinta and her husband Freddie Peipei now passed away, had 3s ons, who are all grown.Nyinta has painted for a longtime,including for the former Ngurratjuta Art Centre. Nyinta enjoys painting whatever comes to her mind based on her life.
