Jasmine Dunn Australian, b. 1990

Jasmine Dunn is a young woman who lives in the remote community of Aputula (Finke) in the Northern Territory. She is new to weaving, first taking part in a workshop in March 2023, which involved a project based on the Finke Desert Race.

Jasmine was eager to challenge herself and make various flat sculptures of the motorbikes, buggies and helicopters that come to her home community every year while the race is on.
