This is where the freshwater meets the saltwater. There are mangroves on one side, pandanus on the other, lots of fish - freshwater and saltwater. It's a crossing on the Fletcher River. "I grew up on Wandangula outstation until I was about 16.... Now I like painting... I can sit and relax and think about the country and the stories and the memories... I feel good painting, my stories are flling my head now. I have to paint them."
