Went to school in Port Hedland. Stayed here since I was five or six years old with my brother. White fella took us away from here since I was six. They sent us to Marble Bar Hostel. Stayed there until I turned thirteen. We didn’t know what Christmas and New Years was. Came back to Hedland for school. I worked secretary job. I started painting this year. I feel good and happy. Spend time with the elders here. I do wildflowers. I start painting and get carried away.”
