Charmaine Mungkari is an emerging artist from Umoona community in Coober Pedy. Charmaine started painting at the Art Centre in September 2021, alongside her family and peers in Umoona, Charmaine comes from a long line of renowned painters including the late Kunmanara Mungkuri and Betty Muffler from Iwantja Arts. She is a talented and dedicated young artist who has become known for her detailed monochromatic paintings, representing her Country.
