Batilda Kimmikimmi Papua New Guinean, 1952-2019

Batilda Kimmkimmi (Asid'e) began painting for Ömie Arists in 2012. Her mother was Kasiri, an Evorajé clanwoman. Batilda shares the same husband as artist Botha Kimmikimmi (Hirokiki). She was a significant and widely respected elder and painter of the central region of Ömie territory.
