Flora Brown Australian, b. 1950
Flora was born in and grew up in Yuendumu. She married Dicky Brown in 1975 and had 4 children. Flora left Yuendumu in 1993 and came to Papunya where she painted for Warumpi Arts for almost IO years. Flora learnt to paint from her Mother Minnie Napanangka who painted at Balgo. Flora lives with her son Matthew Brown and his wife Makisha Anderson at Three Mile Outstation near Papunya and looks after her grand daughter Imogen. Floras paintings are highly sought after for their delicate dotting and simple yet fine compositions.
