Sonia Ward Australian, Ngaanyatjarra, b. c.2000

Sonia is a young woman living in Mantamaru (Jameson) Community in the Ngaanyatjarra Lands. Born in Wanarn, she is the granddaughter of senior woman and Tjanpi artist Martha Ward.

Sonia attended her first Tjanpi skills development workshop in 2022 where she made a lovely papa (dog) sculpture.
