Merridoo says "the salt lake showing the watermark from the ripples, tali (sand hils) after the rain with watermarks and water flowing through the country and different flowers also around. Grey patches where the water leaves marks after it dries up and brown banks round Winpa."
Winpa is Merridoo's father and mother's country. It is a special place for corroborree, being a rain making place and is the main Jila (waterhole) and meeting place for a number of different tribes. When they really need rain everyone goes to this place. Mangala, Jawiliny, Ngarmarta, Walmajarri, Yulparija and Manilyjarra people.
