Merridoo Walbidi Australian, Yulparitja, b. 1952

Merridoo is the youngest senior law man at Bidyadanga community and an important member of the Yulparija tribe. He grew up in his traditional country but now resides in Bidydanga, two hours south of Broome in Western Australia. He has been painting with the Yulparija people since they began. An active member of his community he has won many awards for his contribution to the Bidyadanga community.
