Melding his signature text and image to illustrate different periods of his life from the 1950s as a child on the Murray River to more recent tales of his myriad experiences as an adult, each of Ian's paintings is an episode in an extraordinary life rendered in his vital unique style.

Featuring works by Jimmy Donegan, Nyankulya Watson, Harry Tjitjuna and other outstanding smaller paintings from Kalka community in South Australia. This beautiful exhibition incorporates stunning paintings from Warakurna and Wanarn communities in Ngaanyatjarra country of W.A. and extraordinary eclectic fibre works, including animals and baskets, from women artists working across 25 communities in the NPY(Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara) Lands of Central Australia.
